FAQs
If you’re new (or newish) to SAPC, we’re so glad to have you here! If you will be joining us for one of your first times at SAPC, here are a few things you can expect during our service.
- Worship lasts about 60-70 minutes and includes prayer, music, and a message to grow your faith. Please engage however you feel comfortable.
- We also offer livestreams of our 9:00 am and 10:45 am Worship Services. Click here to watch online.
- Children are invited to participate in worship and/or attend Sunday School on Sunday mornings. We also have a playground for after the Service.
For us, church is so much more than just a Sunday service, and we want you to know that there’s a place for you at St. Andrew’s. One of the best ways you can get connected with us is to fill out the Connect Card here. Fill out as much information as you feel comfortable sharing. We look forward to getting to know you better.
If you are attending the 7:30 am service it is best to park on the north campus (near the Chapel) in the north parking lot or in the parking lot along Paseo del Norte. There are handicap spaces available in the north parking lot if you need them.
If you are attending the 9:00 or 10:45 am services it is best to park on the south campus (next to the Sanctuary) in the west parking lot. There are a few visitor spaces on the north side of the Sanctuary, and several handicap spaces on the west side of the Sanctuary.
Ushers and Greeters would love to help answer questions or direct you to where to find them. There is always someone at our welcome table located just inside the west doors or look for the receptionist who is available at the Information Center on the SW Campus. If you are still unsure, feel free to find any of these friendly faces on a Sunday Morning and they will make sure to get you the information you need!
You are welcome to come as you are to any of our services. In each of our services you will see people in suits and ties to shorts and t-shirts, dress shoes and high heels to flip-flops.
You are welcome to come early to worship, or stay after worship on the patio after 7:30 am worship service, or in the Gathering Place (adjacent to the Sanctuary) after the 9:00 or 10:45 am worship services. We hope you will meet new friends, enjoy a cup of coffee and some goodies, and learn more about what is going on in the life of St. Andrew’s!
Several times throughout the year we offer classes about what it means to be a part of the life of St. Andrew’s. The pastors and other members of the congregation lead these informal classes. We will talk about our mission, core values, what a Presbyterian is, and about how our own personal stories have brought us together. As we share time and a meal together, we will also discuss how we can get further involved in the life of the church. Everyone is welcome!! Just check our website for updates or email Pastor Mat at mgrover@sapctucson.org to find out more!
